Recycling Services

Recycling service is provided by the Township and is contracted through West Central Sanitation. Each household receives one container, and the cost is covered by the township. To set up service, please contact the office at (763) 878-2600.

Pickup is every other Thursday

Helpful Tips:

Set your bin out by 6:30 a.m.
Place the cart 1 foot from the curb and 3 feet from mailboxes, trees, or poles
Make sure wheels face your house (not the road)
No bungee cords on the lid

Multiple private companies provide trash pickup within the township. Please choose a company that serves your area as this helps reduce heavy truck traffic on township roads.

Electricity in Silver Creek is primarily provided by Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association.
